Content Governance

Clinical Governance

FORTIS maintains formal clinical content governance. AI-assisted tools may support content drafting and maintenance, but clinical content does not automatically become approved training material. Every document passes through qualified clinical review before entering the training environment.

Document Lifecycle

Draft

Content is authored or updated. AI-assisted tools may support drafting, but content requires human clinical review.

Clinical Review

Assigned to a qualified clinical reviewer. Content is evaluated for clinical accuracy, scope boundaries, and alignment with training objectives.

Compliance Review

When applicable, content undergoes compliance review for regulatory alignment with CMS, CDC, OSHA, or other authoritative requirements.

Approved

Content has passed all required reviews and is approved for training use. Approval date and reviewer signatures are documented.

Published

Approved content is published and becomes the active training material. Version number and effective date are recorded.

Superseded

When a new version replaces existing content. The previous version is marked as superseded but retained in the version history.

Archived

Content is no longer active but is retained for audit trail and historical reference purposes.

Qualified Clinical Review

Every document published in the FORTIS training system requires review by a qualified clinical reviewer with appropriate expertise for the content area. Reviews are documented with:

  • Reviewer identification and credentials
  • Review date and version reviewed
  • Review notes and feedback
  • Approval or revision decision
  • Signature and documentation

AI-Assisted Content Development

AI tools may assist with content drafting, formatting, regulatory research, and document maintenance. However:

  • AI-generated content is always classified as Draft
  • No AI-generated content is automatically approved
  • All content requires qualified human clinical review
  • Clinical reviewers validate accuracy, scope, and safety
  • Only reviewed and approved content enters the training environment
